Established in june 2008. by people who live with HIV/Aids, family members and friends, also from part of the professional team.

Our work in the Republic of Serbia is conducted through education, psychosocial support and development of attitudes and knowledge of the general population about HIV.

Vision of Association “Stav+” is:

• Society without discrimination and stigmatization of people living with HIV

Mission of Association “Stav+”:

• To improve life quality of people living with HIV/Aids
• To conduct sensitization of public knowledge and to indicate on problems that PLHIV are living with
• To help vulnerable groups of society to realize a need for testing and starting with HAART therapy.

A lot of people were steering at us when, 3 years ago, we started to talk about importance of this association.

Some were skeptical about an idea that we could unite people to create a base of human knowledge, understanding and care for one another – all for cause that knowledge and experience  be shared  to those in need.

Three years after formation, services of our association benefit more and more people who are interested in issues that we deal with.

Association “Stav+” is among pioneers of associations and organizations in Serbia witch deal with these issues.

But, association “Stav+” is not like those commercial agencies that work for benefit. It was built by community, wrote by people, body-volunteers, input by input.

YOU are part of our community and we are addressing you today with a request to help and preserve further work of this association.

With the joint efforts and services witch “Stav+” provides will remain free for those in need. You could enable the growth of association by spreading the knowledge and inviting everyone to join.
